Flattering Cut, Timeless Style
This is a classic piece that is very well-cut. Thin-rib corduroy is not itself too thin a fabric (it has the right amount of body), the color is true midnight / navy, and I like that the hardware is silver (and slightly matte), keeping it updated. The cut is extremely flattering and would work well on most body types; it is neither too flared nor too straight, too long nor too short. Could be worn almost all year 'round and from office to after work or on a date or to a luncheon. I think the key to this piece is to accessorize it as little as possible: it truly stands for itself with very clean lines. Boots, loafers, mary janes, . strappy heels- I could see almost any style of shoe working with it too, but dont go for too much color (cognac, white or black would be best bets) The one caveat is that it definitely runs small. I am an XS 90% of the time (5'2", 105 pounds) and the S is a perfect fit. So size one up, but this dress is worth adding to your wardrobe. Well done AG!

Indian and Tyrolean Styles Wed Unhappily
I love white blouses (and trust me - this is white, not ivory as described). I love eyelet. I love the idea of the little metal spangles. But there is a LOT going on with this top: the eyelet, the beading, the highly constructed shape and the peplum, the very puffy sleeves (not evident from the images IMO) and large cuffs (also not so apparent). I so wanted to love this -- but it's all just a little too much, at least for me. The placement of the beading gives it a sort of Swiss milkmaid / Tyrolean feel that was the final death blow for me. Also, I found it large in some places (sleeves too long, waist not fitted) and not in others (bust, length, and shoulders were good). If it was a great fit it might work but it is only going to be a great fit for like 2% of you since there is a fitted collar, fitted waist, the sleeves wont roll and there's no give and no way to finesse it. I'm on the petite side and usually wear a 0 or 2 top - this was the 2.. All in all, a sad return for me.

Close but No Cigar
Great idea for a jacket: semi puffy with a satin-like finish in a neutral silvery grey print. Very nicely styled with tie hem and sleeves. Runs a little large but not terribly so. BUT... I didnt see this in the images: some of the pattern is metallic silver. This is a matter of taste but to me, it really cheapened the look (and its made of polyester NOT silk) so I'm returning it. So close to being a really special piece .. what a shame.

Gorgeous - and Huge
Absolutely beautiful sweater: Great silvery grey color (the yarn is marled with a little white), lovely "hand", beautiful mixed knit pattern. The prettiest textured grey sweater there is. However: it is sized for a linebacker. It's not that it is so large as that it is VERY wide, from left to right. VERY. I know this year's styles are over-sized but this pushes that envelope. Nonetheless, I'm keeping it. Got a good price and it is fine enough to belt without puffing out over the butt or at the waist so that's how i will wear it. It will still be over-sized but won't look too ridiculous. Note that it is a bit on the lacy/sheer side so you'd probably need a shirt under it for very cold weather. Really a beautiful piece. Rodebjer: can you size for more normal women going forward?

Delicate Knit, Pricey But Cool
Very delicate knit - i have no idea how it will hold up. But Im a sucker for hoodies, and for cashmere, and for light light greys - so I went for it. It's really is a very cool piece that is also very pricey but since I more or less live in hoodies on the weekends, I can justify paying. However, I am not prepared to dump this one over the exercise bike at the gym, and tying it around my waist would probably deform the sleeves, and then for this price (and because you cant pop it in the washer) I wont have it touch my sweaty armpits.. Hmmmm. I may have to re-think how/where I wear it. Airplane travel!! The kids' soccer games! Starbucks runs! I'm very petite and the XXS small runs large, so size down ladies (Vince runs quite large always I find - but it looks cool that way) - you will still be able to wear whatever you want under it, including a cotton sweatshirt. This is a splurge piece that is super-causal, cool in an understated way and beautifully tactile.

Ouch (but Cute)
Cute and uncomfortable - interior is scratchy, unpadded, and unforgiving. Actually, I'll amend my initial comment: REALLy cute, albeit in a traditional girly sort of way with the lace and the little charm at the toe. The angle is nice - you get height without putting a lot of pressure on the ball of your foot. But oh please use something softer for the interior of your shoes Ms. Burch!

Cute!
Cute short shorts for the beach with flip flops. Only the very young should wear these in public and with bare legs. Me, I'm wearing them at home as lounge wear, and to ballet class over ballet tights and a leotard. The blue is a lovely saturated color.

A Not-Silver-Grey Sweater
OK Theory sweater, cut a little skimpy I thought (shorter sleeves, split hem). But the issue was that I thought I was purchasing a silver grey sweater and it's not: it's a marled cream-and-black. Caveat emptor and thanks Shopbop for your return policies.

Pretty - not Gorgeous - and Pricey
1. This is cream / ivory- colored and NOT white as the picture suggests. 2. Fit is true to size 3. It is pretty and kind of sexy since it's so sheer 4. Very traditional.. no edge. 5. And...priced high for what it is (which is a pretty silk blouse). Might have been sensational in true white but left me a little cold. I bought on sale and still returned it. At $125 to $150 I would have kept it.

Fresh, Fresh, Fresh
This dress is super-highly constructed (does it have boning?) with a very fitted bodice and a really full skirt - 360 degrees. Fabric is true white and a true, clean blue - the photo is accurate. The overall effect is girlish, and although we've seen this silhouette before (redolent of Alice + Olivia ) the dress still comes off fresh, fresh, fresh. The front zipper is a great touch for style and convenience and it is "Apple I-Pod"-white - really a great touch. My only criticism: I wish the skirt were two inches longer (it could still be shortened but it can't be lengthened). The length made is making me hesitate (at my age??), but what the heck.. Diane Keaton looks great in a full skirt (albeit longer) and this fits great.
