cropped and boxy
I got this in the gray and white stripe and wanted so badly to love it but the cut is so strange for me. It is very wide but short - weird for maternity clothes as it barely covers my bump but I still feel as though I am swimming in fabric. I am 5'9 with a long torso, so that might be the reason it doesn't work for me. The cut of the neck is perfect however and might look great on a shorter/rounder woman.

very cute!
This is a great cami. I got it in black and it isn't at all sheer. I can wear it alone or layered. I am 5'9 and 6 months pregnant (pre-preg size was 6) and it fits well and is super flattering. I don't see any reason why I can't wear this post pregnancy too.

Not ONE SIZE fits all....
This top is a boxy cut as described- but unfortunately the structure that they do include is poorly designed. The arms are SUPER tight- no stretch at all. The fabric is a thick cotton that has no give. The top has little darts near the bottom on the sides which are barely noticeable in the photo. Unless you are shorter- these will probably hit you too high and look funny as they poke out a bit. I am 5'8 and this top was cut all wrong for me- had to return.

Strange arms
I am US2, sometimes US4, height 162cm. The top is huge but fits great - it is indeed something that you can wear from month 0 till month 9 of your pregnancy BUT the arms are SUPER tight as other reviewer said. I do not think it will fit you if you are above US4. So for me- the top is good and I am happy to wear it (in spite of tight arms) - it helps me to hide my pregnancy so far.

NOT one size fits all
I am 20 weeks pregnant, wear a US6 on top and 27 in jeans and I couldn't even get this top all the way on. The arms are insanely tight and the fabric has zero give. I was really hopeful, despite the negative reviews, but the previous reviewers were right. Has to be returned.

Not for pregnancy
I have had a single pregnancy and a twin pregnancy and there is no way this would have seen me past the first trimester. I didnt have the tight sleeve problem others have mentioned but i really dont understand why a maternity garment would be cut this way. It's a lovely top but I would buy it with the expectation of it seeing you through the entire term as it just isnt big enough. That said,it may be if you are very very petite. I'm of average stature. Lovely to wear in the early days or post pregnancy.

what were they thinking?!
I want to like Hatch so badly because the style of their clothes is just so cute - but about 50% of what I order from them is just so head-scratchingly bad. This top is definitely one of the bad ones unfortunately. The material is great, but the cut is so so strange. It balloons out at the waist and then is tapered right at the hips - so weird. I am 6 months pregnant with my third child so I definitely have a bump at this point and this cut isn't to accommodate a growing belly - its just flat out weird. And horribly unflattering. Bummer.

Love this dress!
This is a really cute dress. I'm early pregnant and it's perfectly loose without looking like a maternity dress. I will definitely wear this not pregnant as well. I'm 5'7 and 150 lbs and the one size fits all fits like my normal size 6.

Cute, but tricky
I love the Hatch collection concept and this dress fits right in. The only issue with the dress is that it doesn't have any stretch at all to it, so pulling it over your head and more importantly a large bump gets tricky. The bottom is much more narrow than the rest of it, so that's what causes the issue. I'm 24 weeks and don't have a huge bump yet, so I saw this as a potential problem as my pregnancy progresses. Otherwise, the construction is adorable, length is good and love the overall look of the dress. Maybe if there was a zipper or something to help get in and out of it, it would work...

Great for later stage of pregnancy
I agree with the earlier reviewer that the cut of the dress is such that it narrows quite a bit at the knees. However, I have not found this to be a problem - it's a really comfortable, easy to wear dress, although it is very generously cut and I think it fits best at later stages of pregnancy. I am currently 6 months and find it too big to wear without looking like I'm wearing a mumu.

Classy and Easy
I wasn't so sure about this dress after reading some of the reviews, but I was pretty pleasantly surprised. The cut is flattering and comfortable, and I get lots of compliments every time I wear it. (One woman who wasn't even pregnant asked me where she could get one.) My one gripe is that the V neckline sometimes slips down on me, showing the top of my bra. I wish these came in more than one size, so shorter people would have the option to get a slightly smaller one. Still though, great purchase for a stylish maternity basic that works for a night out or a day at work.

Great Daytime Dress
This is easily the best day-to-day maternity dress I've found. The asymmetrical hem adds a lot of style, and unlike most Hatch dresses, it isn't cut super wide, so you don't feel like tent wearing it. I find it super comfortable too-- a really soft, nice jersey. I've worn it around on the weekends, and dressed it up for work with a nice statement necklace. If it came in more colors, I'd literally buy them all-- and I hate most maternity clothing!

Petite sizing is all wrong!
Cute clothing, but their sizes are HUGE. I ordered three items at once and all were incredibly large for a "petite."

Like a Giant Silk Garbage Bag
This dress is more like a muumuu. It is HUGE. The model in the photo has to be pinned into the dress with about a foot of fabric hidden from view. My husband actually laughed at me when I tried this on and said "you paid what for that?????" NOT okay for the price at all. This is going back immediately.

Gigantic
Since I'm about 21 weeks pregnant and just beginning to show, I decided to buy some clothes from Hatch. This top looks a little loose on the non-pregnant model, but believe me when I tell you it is a tent. The material is soft and comfortable, but the neck hole is gigantic and impractical. Even if you're breast-feeding, I can't imagine you would need this much give in the neckhole of your shirt. I've bought and now returned several items from this brand, and all of it was poorly made and seems to work along the principle of "Hey pregnant women are big, so let's just make clothes for them that are enormous." It's actually insulting. If this is what maternity wear is like, then I'm just going to buy larger sizes of my favorite designers and have the clothes tailored once the baby is born. Very disappointing.
