Denim versatility
I tried the Emerson (blue ridge) BF jeans in 3 different sizes and bought two options for two different looks. For a straight up cropped skinny I went with a size 26. For what I consider the perfect BF style I went with a size 28. My normal size in COH jeans is typically a 28 so I would say these are TTS for the intended BF style. I also tried Rag & Bone's Dre and a Paige BF jean but these were by far the most flattering. Pockets are in proportion and the rinse works for both day and evening. I have worn the smaller of the two several times and have not noticed any undue stretching out, yet the fabric is soft and the perfect weight for Summer. I put a lot of work into finding the perfect skinny BF and feel it paid off.

Great jeans!!
These jeans are very soft, extremely flattering but I am not finding them running large as some reviewers stated. I would say they are true to size. I am still undecided whether to send them back and order a one size bigger or keep these ones. If you want a true boyfriend fit, I would say you should buy your regular size.

No muss, no fuss BF jeans. Finally
I think these will be my new go to BF jeans. Like another reviewer mentioned - if you are looking for a true BF fit- stay with your size. I also purchased another pair -2 sizes down, for a skinnier BF fit. The denim is soft and so comfortable and they wash (and dry) well.

Cute BF jeans
I am normally either a 25 or 26 in jeans, I ordered a 25. They fit well but did stretch out with wear so I may have even been able to get away with a 24. They are a little more fitted than my Current/Elliott jeans in size 26, but less fitted than my AG ex-boyfriends in 26, but those have no stretch. I like them and will keep them but I would like to find a pair with a more tapered leg that is still a slouchy fit.

Love these jeans!
Great colour, great cut. I sized down one size so I wouldn't be obliged to wear a belt. I'm 157cms tall, and they are a perfect length for me to either roll or wear unrolled. They wouldn't suit anyone medium height or tall. I love these jeans and bought them in white as well. I sized down two sizes in the white as they are 100% cotton and seem a smidge larger.

Worth it
I had almost given up searching for a flattering BF jean when I tried these on. I am an athletic pear shape so have a bottom. Not great for a BF fit! They are nicely fitted through the leg so it doesn't give too much bulk but roomy enough in the backside to still give a BF look. I went with my usual size 27, to keep the casual, slouchy feel and love them so much, I bought a 2nd pair (on sale). The denim is super soft but even after many wears and a couple of washes, it's holding it's shape. Well worth the money.

Great summer boyfriend
I bought these while in LA last Easter. Loved them so ended up buying another pair. I am 5ft 7 and these are just above my ankle. I am general a UK 8 which is a 26 but bought these in a 25 as I didn't want them to baggy I wanted more of a girlfriend fit. A bit short and wide at ankle for me to wear with boot but I bought as summer Jean and great with pumps sandals etc. great Jean that I lived in all last summer and will again this year . Highly recommend

Perfect Boyfriend Jean
I LOVE these jeans. I got size 26. I didn't find them too big like some reviewers did. I take a 25 in Hudson, if they're stretch, and 26 in everything else, J Brand, Rag&Bone. I'm 5'6, 59kgs, (on a good day), and I found these perfectly slouchy around the bum without being too wide and sloppy in the leg. Because I am short waisted and not tall most boyfriend styles I've tried made me look boxy but these are beautifully tailored so they slouch down in the waist without needing a belt. I love the color and want to get more pairs. I've lived in these since I got them. I saw one reviewer said she got them in white. As soon as I find them in white I'm getting some. The fabric is soft while still feeling like a jean and they are perfect for summer but not so soft they wouldn't work year round. Amazing with pumps for dressing up or down.

Love the Emerson
I've worn the Emerson jeans the whole day and I love it. I was quite wary of buying the BF jeans since I'm very flat (front and behind). So I bought 2 size down (as per the customer service agent's recommendation) and no saggy bum to be seen. If you prefer the slouchy style, like modeled, then stay TTS. But if you prefer your jeans to be more fitted but not as tight as skinnies, the go down a size or two. Besides the fit, I also love the wash - dark blue with slight distressing on the thighs. It's not totally high rise, rising just 1 inch under my bellybutton. The hem hits me at right at my ankles and I've worn it cuffed. I would definitely recommend this item and would purchase this style in different colours (hopefully shopbop would stock on more non-ripped Emerson). FYI, I'm a true size 26 (bought this in 24).

Love them
These are now my favourite jeans. Very comfortable and flattering. Depending on the designer I'm a size 26 or 27. I bought size 27 as wanted a loose fit like the model and they were perfect. I do need to wear a belt as they are a little loose around the waist. I'm 5'2" and weigh 54kgs. I would recommend buy your usual jean size if you want a loose fit like the model or size down if you want them tighter.

Slim fit jeans
Very flatting and comfortable jeans. Could go down in size as the waist is a little bigger than hoped.

great everyday jeans
These jeans are among my favourite jeans. They are soft and comfortable due to the stretch. They have the right amount of whiskering to make them stylish but not over the top so that they distract from what else you are wearing. These jeans are the foundation rather than the showstopper of the outfit.

Cropped white skinny
I purchased a size 25, normally SZ 26 @ 125 lbs 5''7. I was on the hunt for a longer pair but found these to be everything but... The fabric is nice and thick for a white denim and conformed to my body great. Not too high in the waist and not sheer at all. I still wish they were a little longer but if you aren't as tall they may be perfect. I do enjoy the fact that because they hit just above my ankle, wearing heels or shoes I want to show off makes them a flattering choice. I might even do a little DIY distressing on them to make them a bit edgier. I am familiar with Citizens quality and fit so that is why I choose these over all others

Not flattering
I really wanted these to work out but unfortunately I found the fit unflattering/not fitted enough and the fabric also stiff and slightly see through. I got my usual size in CoH jeans. The fit was not streamlined enough and a smaller size would not have helped. My search for the perfect pair of white jeans still continues!
