super, super small
I tried these on when they arrived yesterday and I felt like they were made for a Barbie doll. Seriously. I am usually a 26 and I couldn't zip the size 4. Very stiff fabric, too.

Rachel Comey Mars Mules
This is an attractive mule. But what size to get is difficult to determine. They fit much smaller than your usual size. I bought the 36 and 36.5, and neither size fit. I usually take a 36 in this type of shoe. I was shocked, and upset because having to guess size is a complete waste of time. Someone needs to do a sample fit test on this designer's shoe and offer advice to potential customers.

Super Crop Top
I knew that this top was a little bit cropped, but when I tried it on it was an inch or two above my belly button. It was cute in theory, but not for me. If you like crop tops, you probably would love this one.

not flattering
this is a beautiful dress, however the cut of it would be unflattering on almost everyone. the bottom half of the dress is fine, but the top part is very loose and blouse-y -- not at all fitted -- and just makes you look bulky, and kind of grandma-like. it's too bad, because it's a beautiful color and beautiful lace. if you're looking for a sheath-type dress, look elsewhere

Too narrow
Beautiful design and craftsmanship. However, runs very narrow. Sizing up only made my foot unnaturally long.

70s in best way
I love the 70s trend, and the wood heel is a perfect way to celebrate. What sold me is the deep wine color and the patent leather shine. It is a great new neutral color. Great with darker skin tones. So glad to have a closed-toe heel for layering with thin socks or tights. Love wearing with flares, skinny jeans and long skirts.

True to size. Gorgeous.
I know that sometimes Comey shoes run narrow, but I don't think these do. And they are true to size. I am usually an 8.5, sometimes (rarely) a 9. I purchased both to be sure and the 8.5 was perfect. Comfortable. Really leg-lengthening.

Perfect summer piece!
I'm 5 ft and the 0 fits perfectly. Most pieces I try are too long but this one is not! I can't wait to wear it all summer.

lots of fabric!
a cute dress for warm weather, but much more fabric than I was expecting. Very full skirt.

A nice plaid
This shirt is cute, boxy and short. The material is good quality and I like it with my lightweight down vest and jeans. I must get more high waisted pants. I bought two shirts and sweaters that are shorter since I am 5'4". The 6 fit well.

Wonky first pair-- second was better
I love the idea of these. I have a couple pair of Mars booties and had high hopes for these. The first pair I got were totally strange. The leather on the inside of the mule seemed to be coming apart. It was shaped weird and felt kind of awful. I ordered a half size down and the bootie was much more to my liking. I love the look but the quality is a bit unpredictable.

Underwhelming & Not Worth the $$
I was so excited about these because it's impossible to find cute rain boots and I thought the leopard lining in these would look so chic and stylish peeking out from the inside. One small problem: when the boots are on your feet you can't see the leopard AT ALL. Which makes them just little short black lace up rubber boots with nothing really that special about them and definitely not worth nearly 300 dollars! Sadly, I had to return them :(

Beautiful booties!
I love these booties - they're a great color and very comfy. The height of the shaft is perfect too. They did feel tight in the toes, but I tried the next half size and they were too big. It seems that these run narrow but true to size. I'm having them stretched a tad and they should be perfect!

Ankle boot perfection
I was searching for the perfect ankle boot based on a photo I saw on Pinterest. Unbeknownst to me, the boot in the picture was actually the Rachel Comey Mars. I couldn't believe I actually found the exact shoe I was looking for. They are everything I wanted. I love the hidden elastic on the inner ankle that takes place of a zipper. It's hard to find booties without zippers or visible elastic, and these are so minimal and classic. I have fickle feet with lots of corns that are usually irritated by narrow toe shoes. I have some rag & bone booties that squeeze my toes terribly, but amazingly that's not a problem in these. The first day I wore them I walked about 40 blocks with no blisters or rubbing at all. Like I said, perfect!
