Just as described, and looks a lot more expensive than it cost. Great to dress up or down. Can be worn with or without straps.

Nearly Great
Great colour nice sturdy knit but inner bodice rolls out along the underarm. Does bunch up at waist when walking fast (which I do all the time) but when just casual the hem seems to stay down. I am very tall though so I do have to pull it down more than a shorter person would need to. It is pretty hot

Beautiful & Classy
I wanted something understated, but elegant to wear during the holiday season that wasn't too fussy. This dress turned out to be the perfect solution. It's very comfortable while being subtly sexy. The details like the sweetheart neckline, lace cap sleeves, modest lace back and tiered skirt really make this dress stand out from hundreds of similar styles. Also, the length was perfect - it hit well above my knees without being inappropriate. I am usually a size 0 in Free People, but had to go up to a 2 to even zip the top part up. I am a 34A, so I would guess that girls with larger chests might have similar experiences. I was hesitant to spend this much money on such a simple dress, but I've worn it so many times already that it's worth it. I'd totally recommend!

Meah.
You get what you pay for. It's fine really but too short for a dress - for me anyway. I'll be taking the hem up and wearing as a top with a pair of jeans. I suggest sizing down. This one runs large.

Not a DRESS
As a fan of very short skirts, shorts and dresses, I felt the need to write a review for this item as I believe it has been misidentified. It is NOT a dress. It does not reach past the lower part of my bum. Will look cute as a tunic possibly with some very dark tights or leggings, but cannot be worn as shown in picture. Be warned.

Cute top
I got this top on sale, and wore it with black leggings and a belt. It is way too short to wear as a dress alone. I am going to try to wear it with skinny jeans too. I'm not sure I would have paid full price for it but I do like it and will get a fair amount of wear out of it.

Not a dress...But LOVE!
This is definitely a "mini" dress. It's too short for me as a dress, but I absolutely love it as a shirt with skinny jeans or leggings! I'm pretty small chested and the small fits me perfect.

Not a dress, but still cute
As other reviewers stated, this is too short for a dress. I am usually a size 6 or 8 in Free People, as I find their clothing to be cut smaller than usual. I ordered the 6 to start and found it ridiculously big. I could even put it on without unzipping it. I then re-ordered a 2, since there was no 4 available. The 2 fits a tad snug under the arms, but otherwise fits well everywhere else. I think a size 4 may fit better in the arms, but may make me look pregnant. I am keeping it since the price is good, and will wear with skinnies and booties now, and come summer will pair with cut-off Levi's and gladiators. For reference, I'm 5'8", 140 lbs, slender-athletic build, wear size 27 jeans and either 4 or 6.

I don't think I will wear it as a dress
It's a top. Got the red one on sale price. Not really my colour but maybe wear it at Chinese new year...the sleeves are quite tight. but overall, satisfied.

Perfect Beach Sweater
This sweater is perfect for layering when going to the beach, but will also work year round. It looks great with a tank underneath. Its the sweater that you will throw in your bag to have with you just in case. Its easy to wash on delicate the let air dry. It is a must have item for the closet. This will quickly become your favorite sweater.

Shorter than it looks
Ok this is a cute sweater but it's boxier and shorter than it appears. It's more of an off-the-shoulder cropped style than the more traditional look depicted on the model. I got the XS, I'm 5'5 and 100lbs and it's plenty roomy. Have to wear an under shirt if you don't want your stomach showing when you lift your arms FYI.

Cotton knit
I love this cotton knit. Mine is faulty as there is a hole in top and the colour change of cotton as it was knitted is very obvious. I sent Shopbop a photo as requested and they did not charge me for this item. I bought something else not wanting to risk same thing. So I wear this at home. I would have loved this item as colour is gorgeous and neckline wide and flattering and I even washed it on hand wash cycle in machine - perfect. You may have a better knitter. But for this price.....
