Classics---as denim should be!
You know that feeling when you put on a pair of jeans and you don't want to take them off? Me either. Until I got these. ;) Sizing is what I expected. I used to wear 27 in Citizens jeans but I've gained 5-or-so pounds; now I wear 28s in most brands. I bought the 27s anyway, since they are more of a mom/boyfriend fit. It worked out perfectly. They fit well in the waist, hips and butt---snug but not too tight. On top of that, the wash and weight is perfect. They are so soft you will want to live in them.

Cute mom jeans
Cute, comfy mom jeans! I wanted a pair cropped flares but chickened out and got these instead - the safer, less trendy style. They're cute - kind of like a fitted boyfriend jean. I'm wearing them for the second day in a row. I've been wearing them with heels and cuffed (which makes them look more like boyfriend jeans). I'm 5'4" and they hit me right at my ankle. I may get them hemmed to hit a bit above my ankle, like they do on the model. I usually wear a 24 in jeans and I ordered a 24 in these and they fit as expected. The only thing I don't love about these is that they button all the way up in front (no zipper) which would be fine but sometimes when I'm sitting it looks like my fly is open, when it's not....

Regret not sizing down
I love the styling and overall look of these jeans, however I ordered size 27 which is what I have usually worn in CofH jeans. Upon first putting them on, they just fit, but after wearing for about an hour they have stretched out significantly and sit low on my waist rather than high where they should sit. I SO wish I had ordered or exchanged for size 26 before removing the tags! The price is not bad for jeans you love, but I feel guilty spending that much on jeans that could be so much better in the right size. Because these are a cotton/rayon blend without any spandex/elastane, there is not the recovery of stretch fabrics, so consider that before choosing your size or buy more than one size so you can compare and return the one that doesn't work. If only I could go back in time. Maybe I'll sell the 27's on ebay and reorder in 26. :(

Disappointing - too small
I read review after review before I took the plunge and purchased these recently. Everyone is saying true to size, some saying smaller, some even saying larger. So confusing.... I normally wear a 29 in Citizens of Humanity (Corey's) and a 29 in Rag & Bone (Dre's) so I thought I'd better size up to 30. Well, I couldn't even get them to my hips. So, if you have hips, consider buying a larger than usual size. I returned them straight away. Such a shame.

Ran VERY small for me
I ordered these a size up from my usual size because of the no stretch fabric and some of the reviews that said they ran small through the thigh. I'd have to agree that they run VERY slim in the thighs as well as small overall. I have average sized, but athletic thighs and a size up was still much too small. However, I love the wash and the vintage feel, so I'm returning that size and ordering up another 2 sizes (so 3 up from my usual) in hopes that they won't be too big and require tailoring. If you have average, athletic, or larger thighs, size up. For reference, I am 5'3", usually a solid size 28 in COH & AG, I tried a 29 in these and will return and reordered a 31.

Love this denim
I hesitated before buying these jeans, firstly because they're on the expensive side but also because I'd read so many conflicting reviews about the sizing. I'm normally a size 27 in J brand and Frame denim so I purchased a 27 in these thinking they ran big. Well boy was I wrong, they were basically falling off me. Swapped them for a 26 which seemed to fit better, until I wore them once and they have bagged out at least a size. I can't believe I could possibly be a 25 but now I wish I'd tried them. Apart from that the denim is gorgeous, the right mix between rigid and soft and the faded colour is just right. I think I've lost a bit of the cool factor because they're a bit baggier than they should but other than that I still like them

Skirt looks and fits just how it does on the model. There are no surprises there.

Perfect skirt
I love that the zipper is at the back, so the front looks perfect! Fits really well, now my favourite one.

Shopbop model has it on backwards.
Love this skirt - lots of stretch, super comfy and will get a lot of wear. But as the description states, the pockets, vent, and closures are on the back, leaving a nice smooth front. Model here has the skirt on backwards.

Almost....
These have a nice wash; not too faded or distressed. Actually look better in person. I purchased my normal size; when I first put them on they fit perfectly. After walking around for a few minutes, sitting and bending down they stretched out; a lot! I could pull them off without unbuttoning them and there was too much slouch in the crotch area. Also, they hit at an awkward length on me, perhaps if they sat up higher that would take care of the problem. Hopefully, a smaller size will be best for me all around. Worth trying them again.

Love these!
First I will say I am obsessed with Citizens of Humanity Premium Vintage. I have multiple pairs of Emersons, Coreys and Racers but I think these are my favorite if you are going for a skinny slouchy look. Some slouchy jeans are way too full in the calf area and can make you look pretty dumpy. These are casual, cool, comfortable and still sexy. The wash is nice and worn in but looks authentic. They have some stretch to them. I wear size 25 in the Racers, and 24s in their slouchy jeans including these. (25 in AG, R13 and Rag and Bone and 24 in NSF). I hope they make this cut in lots of different washes. I LOVE them.

Great style and wash
I am slim. but I have muscular legs. It's hard to find "skinny" jeans that are flattering for me. I love everything about this jean (length, fit, dark-medium wash, distressing), except I wish they weren't as stretchy. If they made these in a stiffer denim (perhaps no stretch or polyure. instead of stretch), I'd love them more. The other reviewers say they run larger than expected, but I think that's just a function of how much the fabric relaxes.

Nice jean for everyday
I bought a size smaller originally based on a review I read. Too tight! I'm 5'7 and 128, reordered my usual size of 28 and they are perfect! Put some heels on or be casual. Very cute jean!
