About the Designer
Bella Freud launched her namesake label in 1990, and by 1991, she’d won Most Innovative Designer at the London Fashion Awards. That same year, Freud produced the first of her Super 8 short films in lieu of a conventional runway show, an art-infused trend she reestablished in 1999. After consulting for brands including Jaeger, Biba, and Miss Selfridge, Freud designed two capsule collections for heritage label, Barbour. Bella Freud apparel has expanded from a range of signature graphic tops into a lifestyle brand, with complementary candles and fragrances completing the collection.
