Designer
While on a year-long globetrotting adventure, designer Samantha August noticed a strong respect of the ocean in the people she met. When she returned to NYC, she focused on how to make the ocean a part of her life. The result is Basta Surf swimwear, a chic line inspired by her love of surfing and travel. And Samantha's designs are beautiful in more ways than one: a portion of all sales will be given to Global Water, a charity committed to creating safe water supplies in developing countries.

Not for me
This bathing suit is very well made and the colours are beautiful.
I wish it worked for me.
The top fits a little weird on me and it flattens me out totally. I am a small B cup.
The bottom is stunning. very flattering.
Too expensive to keep since am not crazy about it.

is it supposed to have padding?
the bathing suite is really cute. but is it supposed to have padding for the boobs? because I ordered it, and unfortunately you can see everything on the top. Like everything. but again, it is really cute.

Great colours!
I like the idea of reversible bikinis, no need to explain why. This one has just great colours for this summer, really neon yellow and bright blue which makes you feel as if you are on a holiday already without leaving the house, beautiful! and the classic white which will stay on trend not one summer. Though I agree with the other reviewer that the fit is a bit strange, but for me not that much strange to return it.

Not For Me...
I love the idea of this swimsuit but it offers NO support whatsoever. My roommate actually ordered it and didn't like it, so I tried it on. I'm a 32 DD and it was too loose around the bottom (like it needed a band to keep it in place). If I tried to tighten it around the neck, it was reveling around the bottom. My roommate also thought it lacked support and is sending it back. It would probably look fabulous on someone with a larger ribcage and a smaller chest. The blue and orange color combination is fabulous, much better then the photos.
