Description

Brushed floral brocade lends sleek elegance to this flattering peplum sheath dress from alice + olivia. A square neckline puts a vintage-inspired twist on the bodice, while the peplum adds a hint of drama to the curve-conforming skirt. A grosgrain panel accents the back, which fastens with an exposed zip, and a small back slit allows for ease of movement. Lined.

Fabric: Brushed brocade.
Shell: 68% cotton/30% viscose/2% spandex.
Lining: 100% polyester.
Dry clean.

Gorgeous dress!
I agree with the previous review; the top does run on the large side whilst the bottom is very tight. I am a small waisted female with a large chest (DD) and even the top was a little loose for me (although not enough to return)!!! Perfect for the petite girl with a large chest! I love this dress and I have to say it is excellent value given the sale price!

Love the concept, not the fit
I ordered this dress in several different sizes and I couldn't wait to get it in! The dress is made well and the fabric is amazing but the fit was very disproportionate. I tried the smallest size (4) on first and could barely get it over my hips (I am 5 ft 7 in - 135 lbs) but the top of the dress was way too big. The larger the size, the top/bust just gets bigger and it seems the bottom just stays to same size (skin tight). I'm so disappointed and wish the dress was a little more "curve friendly". If you have a pencil figure- this is the dress for you!
