This silk dress features a shawl collar at the crossover V neck and gathered elastic banding at the waist. Ruching at shoulders and at 3-button cuffs. Long blouson sleeves. Semi-sheer at bodice and sleeves. Double-layered at skirt.

Poor fabric for Parker
I usually love parker, especially their silk blouses. This dress looks beautiful in the photos but on, the fabric feels funny, elastic band comes up high on the waist. I bought a Peach Thayer wrap dress that I LOVE, I thought it would be similar because I can't get enough of that dress, but I was unhappy to find, it is nothing like it.

pretty and feminine
This dress does require some wrangling to keep the front drape closed, but aside from that it's a very feminine and flowy dress, which is what I wanted. I have it in nude, and I really like the colour - it's very 'quiet' looking and dreamy. I do find the silk isn't the softest, I'm still very happy with the dress, as it's what I was looking for/expected.

Awesome dress
I actually got this dress at a local boutique so I'm not sure why its supposedly exclusive to shopbop? But anyway, the dress is sooo cute. I originally thought it would be a good daytime dress but the neckline is so low/loose that it's really only appropriate for nighttime. My only complaint would also be the cost - the quality isn't poor but its not the best silk I've ever felt either so $242 is a bit steep.

good dress not so great fabric
I really really loved this dress on the website and was so bummed when it sold out after it was first listed on shopbop so when it was brought back I immediately got it. This is my first Parker piece and I am really disappointed with the fabric. It's cheap silk. It's not soft and probably cost the co. $20 to make so the price tag of the dress is a bit annoying. However, I really love the style so I will suck it up. I received the dress and it had a run in the silk shopbop is sending me another one (best customer service) so maybe this silk will be a bit different. I am 5'3' around 110lbs and usually wear a 0 or XS, the dress is pretty baggy on me I'm thinking of getting it taken in here and there. I feel like anyone up to a size 6US could fit into a XS easily.
