Flirty, Yet Surprisingly Sophisticated
I've heard a lot about "Clover Canyon," but had never tried an item from the line. I tried these in a medium and small in an upscale department store and the small was the perfect fit; I came home and ordered from Shopbop. The pattern looks way too busy, but in-person, it's much softer and actually quite sophisticated. If paired with a top that has the right amount of dazzle, these pants could even go "cocktail party." I love wide-leg pants and the drape of the silky material achieves a beautiful line for long legs (if you're petite, I'd skip purchasing). Unfortunately, I didn't try these on when they arrived and when I finally did, the "return by" date had passed. I could barely wiggle this small over my hips though the in-store small had been fine. Thus, I took them to my tailor who let out the waist by just a smidge and now they're perfect. So be sure to try them on the second they arrive! These are very tony in-person; there's a very rich look about them. Lovely!

Lovely!
These pants are great as is everything by Clover Canyon. They look great with a black tank top or a black fitted sweater. I believe that they can be worn all season long especially in California. One issue that might ensue with these pants is that they are long. I am 6ft tall and purchased size Medium. Small would fit and perhaps would have been a tad shorter. Regardless, I have been eyeing them for a while and I am glad I added them to my Clover Canyon/ Rozae Nichols collection. I am very happy with my purchase.
