Description

Softly crackled leather lends a rough, vintage texture to this draped shearling vest, a tough-chic classic from Helmut Lang. The fold-over collar can be worn as a cowl with a hidden snap closure, while the angled placket fastens with a hook-and-eye closure and interior snap strap. On-seam pockets hide at the sides. Sleeveless.

Fur: Dyed lamb shearling, imported from Italy.
100% lambskin.
Leather clean.
Imported.

so so shearling
First of all, I had extremely high expectations for this vest having purchased many Helmut Lang jackets in the past. The fit is much larger than expected and is very stiff.... not draping the way I had hoped. There is also a strong odour coming off the material, not sure if its the leather or the shearling or the glue that holds it together. In any case, it is certainly not worth my 1300 $. It also is more of a grey shearling than cream, another dissapointment. Sending back
