GREAT!
Love J brand jeans!! These are fantastic jeans, the reviews are right - they aren't as shiny in person however I actually quite like that as the sheen is subtle and not in your face! They are firm but give when you put them on. I purchased the 24 and am very happy as they don't slide down as the day goes on. Also the pockets on the front are false which is fantastic as you don't get that horrible line on your thigh from the pocket lining. Another great pair of J Brands, highly recommend.

Luv these Jeans...
I luv the way they fit. Super slimming and stretchy. Perhaps I need to do more sit ups to tone up my tummy. But these jeans are way kewl w the coat. Not too much shiny but enough. I had to size up to a 27. I am normally a 26 in most jeans. I'm 5'8 and about 135lbs so if that helps any of you pick a sz. I also wear a size 2-4. I have a more slender athletic body type. A good staple to have in your closet!

Coating won't last!!
Very nice before the first wash (hand wash in cold water), but lost all the coating as a result. Very disappointing! Now just a regular pair of black jeans. Not worth the money.

lackluster
I really wanted a pair of black jeans with a shimmy look, but these don't have much of a sheen in person, despite the wax coating - which looks like it would probably come off in a wear or two, so I returned them. Additionally, the fit was strange. J Brands are usually my favorite and look fine even if they are a couple cm too long, but this pair was extra stiff and the material around my ankles and calves just looked bunchy and weird.

i really wanted a dressier pair of black straight leg jeans and these are perfection. they have that perfect leathery look, not too shiny, fit the way other 26s have fit me, the fabric has stretch which makes them easier to get in and out of and more comfortable to wear. i had to alter the length because i am 5'2" but that is not unexpected for me. love them!!

Very nice!
My usual J Brand size is 28, so I decided to order my usual size with this pair too.
It definitely fits smaller than my other J Brands in 28 - very snug and fitting, but very slimming too in my opinion. If you prefer a more comfortable with a little space, I would go up one size, otherwise you should fit into your usual size.
The coating is very nice, not too obvious cheap looking, but just the right amount to have people wonder!

Very tight
This was my fist pair of J Brand, so when I got those in my usual size 27 I was sure they would not fit! They looked tiny and the fabric seemed rigid. But somehow I managed to squeeze in. The fit is overall very slimming, the coating is hardly noticeable, but I do not mind much. And despite the fabric not being light, these jeans are awfully cold! I was wearing them in +5C and I thought my legs were going to freeze off.

Great fit....one of my faves
The fit of these jeans are amazing. Very slimming, hugs in just the right places. I'm normally between a 24 and a 25 in Jbrand depending on the material and I got these in a 25. The length hits at the ankle with just a bit of slack to spare... (I'm about 5'3 98 Ibs). There would be no way I could possibly fit in a 24 with this material. I wore these for about 6 hours and it didn't stretch out whatsoever. They don't resemble leather but they have a nice coated effect. FYI, the coating is more subtle than I thought it would be.
