Inspired by her worldly travels, designer Rory Edelman's fashion career began when Friends stylist Deb McGuire bought her hand-knit scarves to be used on the show. Can't decide
I am torn over whether to keep this dress. The color and fabric are gorgeous, and the length is perfect. However, I feel that the waistline is not very flattering, although my friends disagreed with me. I'm usually a size small (5'5", 125 lbs) and ordered a S in this dress, but I'm a bit self-conscious about my waistline and this dress does emphasize that area. I'm also a little bothered by the way the fabric hangs above the drawstring waist (tends to fold more stiffly than I would prefer) but the dress arrived very wrinkled so its possible that steaming could minimize this problem. It looks like that is happening a bit in the picture on the website, but not as severely as it does on my dress. Overall, its a gorgeous dress but I am not sure how flattering the drawstring waistline is, so still deciding on this one.
