1 Dress, 10 Weddings
Love this dress - I wore it to nearly every wedding I could last summer. Hugs your figure/bottom but the peplum still lets you enjoy the buffet/open bar. Size six fit perfectly (5'7 135 lbs). Docked one star just because when I dry-cleaned the dress the peplum shrank a tiny bit and a bit of the lining on the underside began to show. Probably only noticeable to me.

The purple color is very pretty but the dress runs a little smaller than expected. I also have a hard time believing that this is appropriate for a business setting with the bodycon fabric and shorter length.

Exceeded expectations
This dress is so cute but I thought it would suck if the material wasn't just right (if it was too stiff the cap sleeves would have made your arms immovable whereas if it was too thin it would look chinsy). The material is great- flexible but still thick! This fit like a glove without sucking in to every nook and cranny. It really flatters the tummy (I cannot believe I found an article of clothing that does that).
This is the best thing I have bought on Shopbop.

right color?
I ordered this dress in "nude", and although that it what the tag says the color is, to me, it truly looks like the dusty lavender color. I can't tell,... but at any rate, the dress is beautiful and sexy. I usually wear the smallest size available, but I actually found the 0 to actually be a bit tight, and the 2 was perfect.

The dress is well cut and well made but the style is better for an older woman.. I felt about 20 years older wearing it! Nice but will be returned.

not worth the full price
I usually wear size 0 and for this dress size 2 is still a bit tight. I got the nude color and though it's a pretty dusty nude, the fabric itself is nothing special, and I am pretty sure I can find something similar for a lot less $.
This dress is definitely not office appropriate, unless you are going for the "sexy secretary trying to get in Don Draper's pants " sort of thing. Maybe it would be fine to wear it to work if you order two sizes larger so it's not so skin tight. Anyway, I like the style but it's going back.

Small but is a keeper
I keep forgetting that Alice + Olivia runs smalls. I am usually size 0 in most of the brands but I bought a size 2 of this dress and fit perfectly if not a bit smaller...I was planning on wearing this to work but since it is so form fitting doesn't look appropriate. I love it tho...the color is between washed purple/grey
