Description

A lightly brushed texture lends simple elegance to this crisp wool Rag & Bone jacket. Contrast panels curve along the sides, softly structuring the silhouette, while flap pockets lay at the hips. Matte snaps close the placket, which extends from the high, hooded collar to the rounded hem. Lined.

Fabric: Brushed wool felt.
Shell: 100% virgin wool.
Trim: 100% cotton.
Lining: 72% nylon/28% cotton.
Dry clean.
Made in the USA.
Bottom layer sold separately.

Better for tall people
I was SO hoping this would work out. I always have a heck of a time finding a coat that fits because at 5'2" and 97-100 pounds (depending on what I had for dinner the night before!), most coats are cut too wide and boxy for me. This is true of the Varick, even in the size 0. It looked like I was playing dress-up in Daddy's closet! If I were just 3-4 inches taller, it could've worked and the boxiness would've come off as "slouchy cool," but with my woeful shrimpiness, it just didn't work. I did love the color -- it looks like a darker military green IRL than in the photos. The material is gorgeous and soft. Like most coats that are longer than hip-length, this style is just not meant for shorties, sorry to say. Sigh.
