Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Go-to dress
Wonderful dress. Just the right amount of sexy without being over the top. The ruching can be manipulated up, down, whatever, to cover any awkward areas. The red colour is divine, perfect with a tan.

Nice Dress
I have this dress in black, size 2 and it is fantastic. I ordered this one in the blue (skipper), size 2 and it is definitely smaller.....also the cotton is not the usual super soft cotton typical of the James Perse clothing. I was a little disappointed....even at the sale price.

Love the fabric, Love the fit!
This dress is an amazing color in the coral-orange. It's bright and summery. I like the rouching because it clings in all the right places without looking too fitted. I'm actually pregnant right now, so I bought a size up than I normally wear and it makes a great summer maternity dress too!

Figure hugging but the double layer assists with covering the bumps! The Poppy colour is beautiful. True to size, Im an Aussie size 10, US 6 and the size 2 fits perfectly. Winner.

I am sending it back , but this dress was amazing ! One fault this is 4. The younger people, form fitting! Now I'm in pretty good shape but not that brave.

VERY form fitting!
Beautiful simple line with dress, very sexy, great color. I am 5"10" and generally wear a 4 so I ordered in a small. My dilemma: I don't know if I'm brave enough to wear this without some kind of shaping garment underneath... every little lump and bulge shows, even on a relatively slim person like me!
