Description
A handsome coat cut from soft, thick twill becomes an elegant statement piece in the hands of Viktor & Rolf. A sleek, tufted fur collar detaches easily from the high neckline, which gives way to an overlapping placket. Hidden interior buttons secure the zip closure, and welt pockets detail the front. A removable belt defines the waist, and a vent splits the back hem. The long sleeves end in zip cuffs. Satin lining.
Fabric: Soft wool twill.
Shell: 52% polyamide/46% virgin wool/2% spandex.
Lining: 100% cupro.
Fur: Dyed raccoon, imported from Finland.
Dry clean.

Designer
Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren were studying at Arnhem Academy of Art and Design in The Netherlands when they began working together. After relocating to Paris in 1993 and focusing on couture, they grabbed the attention of the fashion world and beyond by experimenting with scale and presentation. The unorthodox nature of their designs merged apparel and art, bringing VIKTOR & ROLF to the forefront of high fashion. In 2009 they received Dutch fashion's highest distinction, the MODINT Grand Seigneur award.
