Designer
Funktional was launched in 2009 by Los Angeles-based designer Jennifer Park. After graduating with an Economics degree, Park pursued her passion for apparel at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in LA. After graduation, she honed her skills designing for several brands and soon created Funktional clothing, her own line for women who demand modern styling, refined details, and high-quality fabrics.

Simple and sexy
After reading the previous reviews I decided to size down to an extra small. I'm usually a US4. I was lucky the back of the arm holes have elastic, as with broader shoulders i was little concerned about pulling the fabric, but no worries. I would have liked the Hibiscus colour, but missed out on the size and decided on the Cobolt. The length on my 5'7" frame is quite nice, just below the knee. The silk is soft and falls beautifully. The plunging neckline does sit well on me (b-cup) and does not gape. I may wear a little tube under the dress depending on where I'm wearing it. My only gripe would be the leather tie... It will take a while to soften up. It is quite stiff at the moment. Just wish I could have the Hibiscus one as well!

Tunnel dress
it is everything it's presented, nice silk, beautiful color(cobalt),good fit, i am 5,11 and a size 6, i got the M and it fits great, it hits just a little under my knees, the deep cut neckline looks ok on me(34 C), all in all i like this dress very much, so i just ordered the hibiscus one as well as soon as it reappeared in my size.

Great party dress
I got this dress in Hibiscus, what a beautiful color! The material is medium weight silk and drapes on my body beautifully. The slit down the front is certainly daring and wouldn't work for busty girls but looks stunning with my A cup bust. I am a true size 0 and I got this dress in XS, it is slightly too big for my tiny frame but since is has an elasticated waist, it still looks good. Overall, it's a great buy for a great price. It is going to be my go-to party dress this summer.

Cute but not for me
Beautiful color and cool fit but just a little bit too low cut. Certainly, not for the busty. Ultimately I returned it because couldn't make the slit down the front work.

Simple but cool and versatile
I loved how this looked on the model in the pictures so decided to purchase- so happy that I did. Gorgeous color, great silk matte material. The opening at the V-neck does go deep so its not so much a workplace piece (but that may depend where you work?) but its a great little detail that really adds to it. It has pockets that just out a bit so I feel the need to constantly smooth it over but not too much of a problem. Has the great wraparound think leather strap which is great. Such a a cool piece at a nice price.

the color is beautiful!
I tried on the XS and it was cute, but a little too revealing for me. It was a toss up though, because it was such a nice fit and price, but ultimately I decided I wouldn't wear something that was so open in the front.
