Firstly, I just want to praise the speed and efficiency of ShopBop's delivery to me in the UK. Fantastic service! Next, I have to tell you how much I love this bag. Lovely Leather Tote
I recently bought this bag in another color from my local Madewell store and I'm loving it and get compliments on it all the time. I use it as an alternative to plastic/paper/canvas bags when I'm out shopping. The leather is kind of thick but feels sturdy and I can tell it will wear in beautifully. I looked at a few more of the same style while I was in the store and, as to be expected with leather, noticed slight variations in color/texture. I do wish the straps were slightly longer; while it's perfect for slinging over my shoulder now, I can foresee it being difficult when wearing a coat.

gorgeous, simple bag
absolutely love this bag. have been looking for a simple, brown leather tote and this one was a great choice. its definitely reasonably priced and the leather looks great- slightly more vintage looking than it appears in the pictures. i was worried about the purse being unlined because i've never had a purse like that before, but i haven't had any issues/it isn't as asthetically unpleasing as i thought it would be. it is also a bit larger than it seems in the picture. haven't had any discoloration from the bag or on the bag after a few weeks of day to day use. great purchase overall!
