WOW (Works on Whatever) is a part of the non-profit Art Production Fund and invites established artists (think Jasper Johns and Raymond Pettibon) to experiment with common, commercial objects easily found in any home. Founded by Yvonne Force Villareal and Doreen Remen, WOW and APF are intended to introduce contemporary art to a wider audience. On the cutting edge of the public art concept, Art Production Fund has been behind such projects as Prada Marfa, and Proenza Schouler's 2009 Pitti W show.

Beautiful Piece of Art
I received this beautiful beach towel from my Boyfriend as a gift about a month ago. I read the sentiments on the towel in front of him and thought I was going to cry. That's something I rarely do. This is definitely a work of art. There's something special about the color, too. I just ordered one from Shopbop to give to him some day. A perfect gift for that "someone special" in your life.
