Designer

Les Halles was founded in 1979, and became one of the most influential denim brands in the US in the early '80s. In 2008, the line was re-launched in NYC by original co-founders Marlene and Stephen Baum. The launch was the brainchild of Remy Baum, Marlene and Stephen Baum's daughter, who stumbled upon a pair of her mother's old Les Halles jeans and immediately fell in love. With Remy's fresh point of view and her parent's denim expertise, the three partners offer a perspective unlike any other denim brand.

excellent jeans

i bought these in my usual size in jeans 29, they fit like a glove, i am also very pleased with the lenght, as they are quite long and allow me to wear them with heels( i am 1,80 m high),also the color is great, great puchase.

Les Halles - Super Bell Jeans

These flared jeans are wonderful. The colour is that perfect vintage worn blue and I love that the waist is higher but not right up in the waist. It waist sits just below, which makes it a better line around your middle section - no muffin tops and perfect for tucking in a shirt and for using a belt. (I've had two babies, so I'm always conscious of my mid section). My only complaint is the length - far too long. I'm 5.4 and I've had to pin up at least 8 cm's of the hem. I've just taken them to be done professionally though and I've been assured that it won't affect the flare. Lastly, the fit from the waist to the knee is very flattering on both the thighs and bottom - sits nicely without being too tight, which compliments the flare.
