Cute and comfortable.
I bought this dress in a size 4 (I sized up from my normal size 2) and it fit well. It's a little loose on the top but I kind of wanted it to be. I'm 5'4", 117 lbs, 34" bust. It falls to just above the knee on me, since I'm a little shorter. Overall I really like it.

Size Up from your Regular Madewell size
I tried this on in a Madewell store so I knew that it ran a bit small. I tried on my normal Madewell size 2 and while it fit, it hugged the chest area a little too much and the length was too short. This dress is not meant to be very fitted IMO, so size up. I am 5'6" 120 pounds and ordered a size 4.

i bought this in the cream and it's the perfect summer dress. even though summer is ending here in australia :(
but the cut is very flattering but i think that it's a tad too girly and safe unless you wear something a bit more edgier with it.
i wouldn't recommend for anyone with a larger bust as the stripes may be unflattering. I have a relatively small bust and broad shoulders, I got my usual size 6 and it was a great fit.

So cute!
I loved this dress as soon as I saw it. It fits well, is very casual, and I am sure I will wear it a lot this summer. I ordered my usual size 6 and was happy with the fit. I do think some taller women might think this is too short.

A Preppy Classic
This is a gorgeous cotton/linen dress with a flattering shape. Fun without being too young or 'girly'. The dress fell to mid-thigh and fit well across the bust and shoulders (I am slightly broad-shouldered). The colors are lovely, muted tones. This dress will be a versatile, trans-season classic that will see plenty of use.
