Worth it!
Not that these leather pants require yet another perfect review, but they deserve the 5 stars. I had been waiting for these to restock since February and I was definitely not disappointed. They fit very well and are extremely flattering. Although the length is a little long, it can be tucked underneath so it's adjustable with heels. The leather is extremely soft so it will scratch fairly easily if not taken care of. I'm a size 6 and 5'3, and I purchased the size 0. I recently purchased the helmut lang waxed denim leggings in a size 24 and they were exactly the same size. Definitely worth the price!

THE best leather pants... ever!!
Helmut Lang leather leggings rule... quality subtle stretch leather.... not overly shiny, rather a nice matted finish that wears beautifully. Run long - but that's fine due to the skinny fit (just bunch at bottom, or roll hem inside)
I had originally ordered current elliot leather leggings - had to return them as they were poorly finished at seams (before putting on - threads were pulling mid-thigh - would have ripped open after one wearing!!) ShopBop was great about return. I did not get my helmut leggings here, but without a doubt - helmut lang's leather is the best.... next i want the blue textured ones.... gorgeous!

Unfortunately for me these had to go back. I bought size 2, I am 54kg and 168cm tall. They were just too big in most areas especially in crotch and backside, with excess folds of fabric, not a good look :( The leather will give in time and wears to come, and there is lot of stretch in these pants, so as the net- a- porter site suggested for these HL leather pants, 'runs large, size down'. I now have to wait until they are back in stock for a size 0, hope it's sooner rather than later as they are to die for.....

These leggings are really beautiful. I purchased the size 0 and unfortunately I could not get them past my thighs. I am a size 26 in Siwy and J Brand jeans and thought I would downsize after reading all the reviews how "stretchy" the leather is and how very "giving" they are. I will be looking to buy them in a size 4 now because I am not too sure of how much bigger the size 2 is.

Impeccably Constructed Leather Pants
After weeks of consideration of these leggings and months of looking at leather pants, generally, I caved and purchased these. I was strongly influenced by the universally glowing reviews which talk about how well made these pants are, how soft the leather is, and how flattering they fit. It's all true!
People say these run large. I ordered my regular size 4 (I'm 5'8, 137 lbs) and found them to be pretty close to skin tight. In fact, I'm contemplating ordering a 6 just to compare to see if they might be a less aggressive look. They are long, but as others mentioned, you can tuck up if you need to and the leather is think enough that there's no bunching.
I'm still trying to convince myself I'll actually WEAR these (they may be a little edgy for my personal aesthetic), but I can certainly vouch for the quality and the fit. Certainly worth trying them!

These leather leggings are FANTASTIC - I think a lot of the people who have reviewed these have basically hit the nail on the head!! I wear a size 26 in DL1961 and 7 For All Mankind and bought these leggings in a size 2. They fit perfectly and the longer length is great too!!!! I was very worried about getting them on when I first took them out of the box but the other reviewers who said they are very forgiving are correct - they have a good stretch to them!! I'm so happy with this purchase! My legs look fab in these beauties!! Thanks Shopbop!!

Nothing else compares...
These are the best leather pant/leggings in terms of quality, cut, style and fit. I put larger than expected because I think you can size down in these pants if you want more of a legging look. The incredible stretch in the leather is quite forgiving and there is no fear in splitting at the seams (unlike the current & elliott version) due to the superior quality and construction. The little points of difference with the faux front pockets and placement of the back pockets make these pants particularly flattering. Expensive yes but justified, these will be worn for years to come no doubt.

Everything I was hoping for
I have been wanting a pair of leather leggings for forever and these just got such a good review I decided to splurge. I agree with the other reviews that these are true to size (I got a US4 and would usually always take a US4 or Australia 8). I like the long length since I am 1.75m. Really amazing stretch leather and a true black colour.

AMAZING
These leather pants are perfect. The leather is extremely high quality, buttery soft and thick. They are extremely comfortable and unlike cheaper brands that I've tried on, these stay put and don't slide down your butt. The fit is great - perfectly snug around the waist and thighs, just like regular cotton leggings. The length is a tad long - I'm usually a 30" inseam and these are easily 3 inches longer than that. But no biggie, I just tuck them in and no one can tell the difference! LOVE them!
