Buttery soft
I have been stalking these for at least 6 months and couldn't bring myself to pay $920 for a pair of pants that might not fit. Finally did and am very glad.
The leather is supremely soft and you don't feel very restricted moving about in these at all. They do stretch, but I wouldn't automatically advise everyone to take a size down. I'd say if you're in between sizes, go down, otherwise get your regular size. I got my regular size 2 and they fit perfectly. They are long though, so consider alterations or tucking the ends in.

Incredible!
I hesitated a while before getting those because of the price but there was one size 6 left so I took the plunge and I don't regret it at all. Everybody says to order a size down but because I have muscular thighs, I ordered my true size and they fit perfectly. I cannot wait for the fall to wear them. The quality is beautiful.

the best leather leggings out there. i was worried the 0 would be too small (i'm a 26) but the 2 was way too big. lots of stretch in the leather, don't be afraid to go smaller.

So comfortable
Love these leather pants! They are so comfortable, but have already stretched quite significantly after just one wear. My advice is to buy at least one size smaller.

Finally!
After working my way through quite a few brands and styles of leather leggings, I have finally arrived at the perfect pair. You see it the moment these pants come out of the box: superior quality and just that little something extra.
Pant slips on comfortably and stay put, no sliding down the butt. Makes for a number of different looks and can be dressed up or down easily. I practicaly live in these pants now.
Sizewise, i think they are quite large. I'm normally a US size 6, but actually ended up going for these pants in a size 2, as size 4 had a bit too much excess leather behind the knees and below the butt for my liking.
I would recommend ordering one size down.
Well worth the prize.

Worth it!
Not that these leather pants require yet another perfect review, but they deserve the 5 stars. I had been waiting for these to restock since February and I was definitely not disappointed. They fit very well and are extremely flattering. Although the length is a little long, it can be tucked underneath so it's adjustable with heels. The leather is extremely soft so it will scratch fairly easily if not taken care of. I'm a size 6 and 5'3, and I purchased the size 0. I recently purchased the helmut lang waxed denim leggings in a size 24 and they were exactly the same size. Definitely worth the price!

THE best leather pants... ever!!
Helmut Lang leather leggings rule... quality subtle stretch leather.... not overly shiny, rather a nice matted finish that wears beautifully. Run long - but that's fine due to the skinny fit (just bunch at bottom, or roll hem inside)
I had originally ordered current elliot leather leggings - had to return them as they were poorly finished at seams (before putting on - threads were pulling mid-thigh - would have ripped open after one wearing!!) ShopBop was great about return. I did not get my helmut leggings here, but without a doubt - helmut lang's leather is the best.... next i want the blue textured ones.... gorgeous!
