Curled layers of silk organza form a delicate floral sculpture at the bodice of this exquisite strapless gown from Marchesa. Tiered petals cup the hips to emphasize the waist, and the boned bodice lends an effortless fit. Designer
Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig met early on at the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Georgina began her career as a costume designer while Karen focused on print and embroidery design. When they created Marchesa in 2004, they were already well-versed in the artistry of couture. Named for eccentric socialite Marchesa Luisa Casati, Marchesa eveningwear is inspired by vintage and Asian influences and is an awards-season celebrity favorite.
