Designer

After design stints at Primp and Tavik, Nicole Hanriot decided it was time to branch out. "I've always wanted my own line, and I've always loved the beach and swimwear," says the designer. Beach Riot swimwear was a natural next step. The collection is infused with the Newport Beach native's SoCal roots, incorporating bohemian elements and unexpected details into each piece.

Smaller than regular Beach Riot
I ordered an x-small in these, as I can wear either an x-small or a small in Beach Riot bottoms, and since they were black and I wanted them to stay on while surfing/etc, I got the the x-small. They run sooo much smaller than the regular Beach Riot swimwear. I'm not sure if they're just cut different, or if it's just my body, but I think it may be that they're more elasticized whereas the regular Beach Riot bottoms aren't as much? I have no clue- they're cute, but I, personally, would have to go up a size or 2, and they still might not be flattering (it's just an overall fit issue, that I haven't found in Beach Riot's other cheeky bikinis).

LOVE!
LOVE this bottom. It is not too revealing but definitely shows some cheeks. I'd recommend buying this 1 size up, it does run a bit small.
