Rag & Bone Somerset Boots

Description

Rag & Bone lends their signature contoured fit to a pair of low-key booties, styled in supple, yet rugged leather. The rounded toe is seamed at one side, and inset elastic gores tailor the shaft for a close and easy fit. An angular band of perforated leather details the heel and forms the small pull tab. Stacked heel and leather sole.

Leather: Cowhide.

Cool, comfortable everyday boots
I haven't worn Rag & Bone shoes before so I wasn't sure about sizing. I'm usually an AU8/US8/EU38 and the 38 I ordered fit perfectly.For comparison, the fit is a little narrower than my size 38 Acne Pistol boots. The quality of the boots is great and the leather is nice, though the soles are a bit slippery at first. These boots are very comfortable and I've already worn them heaps, mainly with skinny jeans. A good purchase.

Fantastic Boots
When I opened the box the Somerset boots already exceeded my expectations. Rag & Bone's craftsmanship is wonderful. I wear a 38/8 and ordered my size and they fit perfectly. Getting these on sale was the icing on the cake. I love how they have a thicker leather bottom that gives them a more chunkier feel then then usual sleek Chelsea boot. I'll be wearing these with dresses and rolled skinny jeans for years to come. You can never go wrong with Rag & Bone's footwear. I have a few pairs that I'll never part ways with. I'm glad I was able to get these classic boots before they sold out.

Quality boots
Bought this for an upcoming trip to NY. I took them straight to my cobbler for rubber soles and weatherproofing. I've been wearing them nonstop since I got them back to break them in before the trip. Not much is needed though, they're comfortable straight out of the box. They are quite sturdy. Stiff in some places but I imagine they would soften with wear. My heel slips a tiny bit but not with wool socks. Elastic is strong. Curiously, they make my feet look longer than normal when I wear my velvet leggings but not with other pants. I can foresee these boots will last me a long time. Great update to the Chelsea boot. I wear 6.5-7 and ordered 37, they fit beautifully.
