Designer

Launched in 2002, alice + olivia was born of designer Stacey Bendet's personal quest to create the perfect pair of flattering and form-fitting pants. Her signature style was met with instant success, and "Stacey Pants" quickly became the daily staple and denim alternative for today's retro sophisticate. The brand has continued to expand its horizons launching a cashmere collection in 2003 and a full contemporary collection in 2005, turning alice + olivia into the go-to brand for vintage style.

very nice
I got a size 0 and they fit pretty well, very comfortable and flattering. They feel like nylon/polyester yoga pants but look like dress pants. One thing I don't understand, most of shopbop models wear a size 25 in jeans, and I also wear a 25 in jeans and it 90% of the times fit perfectly, maybe even on the small size occasionally. However, I almost always have to get a 0 in pants. Always. My rule lately has been, if it comes in 24-32, buy 25. If it comes in 0-12, buy 0. Even in the 0, there is still plenty plenty of room for stretch. I can't imagine wearing a 2, as the 0 still looks bigger on me than the model. So I really wonder if that model is actually wearing a 2 or if shopbop is just randomly picking a size that sounds right and looks good.
