Waist belt! Not hip
This is a gorgeous belt - but I wanted it as a hip belt to go with work pants... the picture must show a larger size - I'm the same proportions as the models, but the belt is definitely not for hips. The price is good though - I'll keep it for a summer dress!

Perfect.. except...
I agree with the reviewer just before me. This belt is perfect for the NL homecoming dress in citron.. but there is indeed some residue. Very annoying. I returned the belt for this reason and then set about to find another neon belt to match the dress. I could not find any. The ones I saw (J Crew, Ann Taylor, Marc by Marc Jacobs) were either not the right style (too casual looking) or too long or too acid-green/yellow instead of acid yellow. This color is a 100% match and the length is right for a dress (no leftover belt hanging on the side without a tab to hold it in). So I went ahead and re-ordered (I know, dumb) this belt to match the dress. So I guess it is worth it. Just wipe down the buckle a few times before use to remove the residue and hopefully it will not keep coming off.

Nice, but
Got this belt to match a Nanette Lepore dress pictured with it. The color is a perfect match which is the only reason I'm keeping the belt. The quality of the leather is nice however, residue from the metal buckle comes off. At first, I thought it scratched and damaged the leather band but then I wipe the belt with a washcloth and the residue came off. This happens everytime I buckle the belt.. not the worst thing in the world but annoying, especially considering the cost.

This belt is a perfect match with Nanette Lepore's homecoming dress. I'm so happy that Shopbop styled the dress with the belt so I knew about it.
