Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Nice Dress!
Nice dress and great fit but I just didn't love the color and couldn't see myself wearing it! Returned but would order it again in a different fabric!

Casual cute
Bought this in the greeny-blue color. The color was slightly more faded than I thought it would be from the picture but it is still great and fits like a glove. Love the double layer that goes right below the butt - no transparency here.

comfy and clever design
I like the design of this dress, with a second layer inside that goes from the waist to the side slit - creates some of the shirring and hides body lumps. Overall the jersey fabric is very very stretchy and does seem fragile. I am 5'4" and 30D and the length was good but there was just too much material, even in a size 1. (No more smaller sizes available.) I would expect this dress to be very nice and versatile for summer, but not to last much longer than one summer of steady use.

different take on the maxi
This is a great variation on the standard maxi dress. Great detail at the hips. Unfortunately I had to send it back. The material, while very soft, was also very delicate. It can snag very easily. I have a small child and its not the best combination....It fits true to size. I typically wear a size one but in this dress I would have probably gone with the size 2 - as I tend to be a bit hippier and would have wanted the extra room around the hips and thighs.

Love it!
I bought this dress in a 3 and a 4, but I decided to keep the 3. This dress is so comfortable; it gives a little sex appeal in the side split. I feel I am truly getting my money's worth.

The dress is what you would expect for a jersey dress. Lots of material - was super baggy. Overall I just wasn't happy with it and returned it

James Perse Side Split Long Tank Dress
I love this dress - it's simple, stylish and can be made to look alternative or more elegant. It looks awesome with the crochet white top I bought to go over it. I had to get it taken up because I'm short but it still looks great and hasn't lost any of it's contour. It's a nice quality fabric so it's a good buy in that regard.

One of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn, and definitely agree with the ruching at the tummy area, makes it much easier to wear. Fabric is just out of this world, love it, have it in two colors.
