Designer
Prabal Gurung launched his label during NYFW Fall 2009. Raised in Kathmandu, the designer studied fashion at New Dehli's National Institute of Fashion Technology before his travels took him to Melbourne and London, where he assisted stylists for various publications. In 1999, Gurung moved to NYC and interned for Donna Karan while attending Parsons. Prabal Gurung has won the Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award and the CFDA Incubator Award, and in 2010 was nominated for the CFDA Swarovski Womenswear Award.
