Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Great all-round t-shirt
Love this t-shirt. Fits well and feels great when wearing it. Is a reasonably thin and fine fabric, which is great for the Aussie summer however can also catch on things easily. I ordered a size 1 and it fits perfectly on me....I would normally wear size 8-10 for tops.

Best t-shirt ever!
I was a little nervous about this purchase as there are mixed reviews on the size of this tshirt!
For myself, I'm an Aus size 8 but in tshirts i usually go up to avoid any clingy around my middle. So I purchased the size 2- but it was too big. I've now swapped for the 1 and it's perfect! It doesn't cling and and fits just like on the model. Also- there were lots of reviews about the white being too sheer- I have the white and black and don't find the white too sheer. Just don't wear a brightly coloured bra under it!

Not impressed
After reading reviews on James Perse, I was expecting a really good quality tee. The fit is good, like on the model, not too tight, but after a day of wear it had started to pucker around the neck line. I think the fabric is too fine and the border around the V is too thick, looks a little cheap. A $25 tee not $50.

Nice but its just a white tee
Nice thin fabric and flattering v neck cut. I got a size 0 and thought it fit like the model in the picture. I bought white and don't find it too see through, but I always wear tanks underneath my tees. I bought mine with friends and family discount, so more reasonable price.

This is the perfect white tee. The v-neck is not too low and you cannot see through it. I have been looking for one forever, love it!

Disappointing
Read other reviews and had high hopes. This is a basic cotton tee. Nothing special. Won't ever become a favourite and I won't be purchasing any more from this label.

love these tees!
So happy with my purchase of this tee in black and white - I think I'll need an extra one in both colours they are that good! These are a great alternative to my Alexander Wang tee-shirts when I need something a bit more fitted to go with baggier pants. Super-soft and comfy, hopefully they keep their shape after washing - I'll be hand-washing them to be safe!

Just Great!
Ordered the large, fit was great in shaping my voluminous body in all the right places. Love the fine texture, which is slightly see-through in the chest area, but still covers enough to wear it everywhere. Have been wearing it nearly every day, washing just as many times without any difference in the material, great quality! btw ordered another one 1 week later^^

great basic
nice T-shirt, very soft fabric, love the cut. I have already washed it 2 times in washmaschine in 60 degrees( have the white one) and it still has its original shape and color. It is little bit sheer, but with suitable bra it is not problem at all.
