An Updated Classic
I absolutely love this jacket, and would recommend it to anyone 5'6", or over, whose style is classic with a twist. This jacket IS 100 percent shearling and, like all skins, shearling has two sides: The sueded side of the pelt makes up the outer back and sleeves; the short soft fleece forms the lining; and the long curly fleece comprises the collar and lapels. The jacket is beautifully constructed and looks and fits exactly as shown on the model. Another winner from Vince!

not great
The shearling collar on this is very large - too large for my tastes. It was overwhelming and too much of a throwback to the 70s. Looked a bit "costumey." The black color is nice. I am 5'1, size 2 and the extra small was too big and the arms too long. Note, the inside of this jacket is not lined in shearling. Its some other soft material but at this price point, one would expect shearling throughout. Definitely not worth the price.
