I bought this dress in a size 6 rather than my regular size 4 after reading the other reviews that it was made small. The 6 fit well but I still found that it could of been more form fitting around the waist. I plan to wear it with leggings. It was a great price at 70% off.

The concept of this dress is cute but when I saw it in person I was not impressed. There isn't much shape to the dress and it looks kind of odd when you unbutton a few buttons on the top, and it didn't look right buttoned all the way up. It was also a little on the small side, definitely not too bad. If I had liked the shape of the dress better I probably would have overlooked the slight smallness. I returned it because I didn't think it was worth the money.

I am a true size small/6. I could barely get this dress to fit over my hips. Very unflattering.

A stunner!
Although I don't want to show up at the same party with you and I both wearing this dress, I promise you, you need it! (Sorry shopbop, I ordered this from another retailer and it arrived today). I don't think I paid much attention to ALC prior to this season. All the fashion mags and websites are telling us to wear bold floral prints which I think are a little barfy... then ALC has these kinda warped, muted, blurry prints (see also the green&white with black collar blouse from ALC) and I am thinking I can dig a little on this floral thing. I'll complain about my chest like I do in other reviews, but the 2 did well and also fit my hips/waist. The slight pleat in back is a nice twist to a typical sheath shape.
