On a blustery July day in Buenos Aires, college friends Emily Harrison and Jennie Englehardt envisioned a company that would combine handcrafted Argentine leather goods with contemporary fashion. Inspired by their surroundings, they began designing Hare + Hart handbags in fall 2009. While the designers split their time between Buenos Aires and New York, all Hart + Hare products are produced by craftsmen in Argentina using Argentine materials.

Large and opaque
I had great expectations for this clutch, but it is way to large and the leather is too opaque. Being a briefcase, it makes it hard to handle as a clutch (although you can put a lot of stuff in it!). The other thing I don't like about it is that you can feel the cardboard under the leather. Averall, I don't think it is very good quality. I am glad I bought in on sale.

Surprise!
I knew it was an 'oversized' clutch but I didn't know it would be as big as it was. My husband said it looked like a brief case (over exaggerating). It is really big but not that big.
I'm going to try and rock it anyways as a statement peice with my outfit. Shopbop should include the dimensions of the products they sell or at least a true to size image. The model image is not true to size. This was my first time shopping on shopbop and I am turned off. The only thing that made me happy, was recieveing it so fast and in excellent packaging.
