Accented with scuffed patches at the toe and heel, this pair of leather knee-high boots from Ash will add a rugged edge to any look. A slim buckled strap wraps around the top of the shaft, which closes with an extended, exposed back zip. Stacked heel and leather sole.

Defects... But nice boots.
I saw these boots in the NY Soho Ash store and loved them . So when they were on sale I ordered these boots in a 37.5 since they run a little small. I normally wear a 37. But when I got the boots, there was a big glue mark on the front shaft of the boot. It was not supposed to be there like the rugged scratches on the toe and heel which is a part of the design. So I returned them and reordered a 38 since the same size was sold out. Shopbop was nice and refunded my money when I returned the defective pair. But the new pair was in worse condition. ;( some kind of paint like marking came on top of the glue mark on one boot and the other boot leather was pinched at the top shaft. I was really disappointed since I LOVE the design and fit. Not sure what to do. Customs duties so far added up to $150. Might just keep them and get these fixed since I wont be getting duties refunded. :( Very disappointed... But nice boots, worth it IF there were no defects.

I am a pure size 9. Despite what other reviewers suggested, I went with my regular size 9. Initially, these felt narrow in the foot...but I have a slightly wide foot so I felt this to be expected. I wore these boots for the first time for over eight hours and I was on my feet for majority of the time. Although my feet were a little sore after that, the next time I put them on for the same length of time, they were perfectly fine in feel. I love these boots and wear them quite often. The colour is a beautiful dark brown/blackish and they are very well made. I have an athletic build and thought that my calf might have to squeeze in...but I was pleasantly surprised to find that was never an issue. Quality zipper that goes quite low to the heel for easy putting on and taking off. As well...I wear these boots with leggings and Falke thigh high socks and have a little extra room in the calf. Wicked boots! Hope this helps.

Thankfully, I read the reviews prior to purchasing these and bought them a FULL size and a half larger than what I normally wear, and they fit perfectly! The quality is great and they look great on as well! Was a bit worried that the zipper would be uncomfortable on the backs of my feet, but so-far, so-good!

If you haven't ordered a pair... get on it! These are fantastic! SUPER dark brown; almost blackish. Good leather and awesome cut.

Tricky Zipper Placement
Something to note- these boots would probably be OK with thick socks as the zipper extends right down to nearly the base of the heel. You may need to size up since they seemed snug even with thin socks. I actually returned mine because I was afraid the zipper was going to cut my heel right up.

Beautiful Boots, TOO SMALL
These are gorgeous, I mean just the best looking boots money can buy (and they're a pretty penny at that).
But, if you're like me (size 10 feet) then these boots are not for you. I ordered the EU size equivalent of a US 10, and they were MUCH too small. They don't come any bigger either. So, I will have to live without these boots. They got returned.
