The waist band is VERY elastic. It fits tightly.

These are as pictured in both color and length. They are cute and comfortable. I purchased them in brown.

Super cute and feminine
I love these shorts, can easily be dressed up for a special occasion or down for everyday.They do run a little big so if you are between sizes, go with the smaller size. The only downside is that they are very deliquate and might fray. But nevertheless such pretty, feminine and classy lace shorts!

Perfect design, but poor fabric
Ordered these because I thought they would be a perfectly fun dress up option and they totally would be except they will snag very easily. The lace fabric just isn't substantial enough for normal wear and tear. I'm not careful enough to own these beauties. Maybe you are?

Cute... Great price
These are quite cute and a decent quality for the price.... These will transition great into fall! I'm normally between a small and a medium for bottoms (size27) but I chose the small, glad I did as these seem to have a roomier fit. The medium would have been too large. They look cute on just don't expect them to accentuate your bottom or waist... It's more of a relaxed feminine look.
