Beautiful color

I am 5'4", weigh 117 lbs and have narrow hips. Size 27 in J Brand always fits perfectly so I was quite surprised when I got these as they were definitely too big. Like the previous reviewer commented, you have to size down; the fabric is very stretchy which may explain the sizing issue. The color is beautiful; a dark aubergine with black undertones. The high rise is very comfortable; the jeans can be worn with and without tall boots. Very reluctantly I had to return them.

HIdden Gem

I didn't buy these on shop bop but feel as if it my moral duty to review them. I usually do not fit into J Brand because they are cut too small. These are pure awesomeness and I actually went down (yes DOWN) a size. The color is the most beautiful eggplant which ladies you know is super-hip for Fall 2012. Higher raise so no muffin top failure. Great, great jeans. I am saying go for it. They are kinda photographing lamely but they are super excellent in real life with lots of character.
