Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

I got this dress in light grey and blue and both are gorgeous.

Final Sales!
I have never bought Final Sale items, and my intuition was correct. I called customer service for sizing, the dress is too big and longer than expected. The color is beautiful and fabric feels great. Too bad I wasted my money. Lessened learned...never buy a final sale items unless you really know it's going to fit!

Love James Perse Quality
I ordered a size up from my normal James Perse dress size. The dress is still nice and fitted but not clingy. Lovely color too! (sail).

Love it!
This is my first James Perse's dress, and I am so loving it! It is true to size, and very versatile. I ordered it in size 1, and orion. Such a gorgeous color, love it! I am 157cm tall, and 53kg. I think I will look into other dresses JP has.
Shopbop is so fast with delivery, ordered on Friday, and delivered on Monday!! Love it!!

I wore this dress out the same day I got it. It fits perfectly. I don't think it is too tight at all, There is quite a bit of stretch. I am 5'7, 117 pounds, 32A, 25, 35. I ordered the size 1 in the ORION color. Beautiful jewel-tone blue. Not too bright, not too navy. One of the best things is that the lower back panel has a double layer of fabric. Extremely figure flattering! My first Perse, and I LOVE it!

SO FUN!
This is the most comfortable dress I now own, that still manages to be sexy! I ordered a size 1 in the "Orion" color, Gorgeous color! I am 5'7 and weigh 117 pounds, and the size 1 is perfect. My chest is a bit small...32A, so the top is only slightly loose, but the rest of the dress could not be any better. Very flattering in the waist and buttocks. My waist measures 25 inches, and my hips are about 35.5 inches, This is my first Perse, and I am impressed. I don't agree that it is too tight. The dress has quite a bit of stretch, and the back panel (butt area) is lined, so no worries there!

I am either a size 0 or 1 in James Perse and in this dress I felt more comfortable in size 1. The styling is great but the dress is more fitted than other JP dresses that I own. Order the bigger size if you are in between sizes.

So hot!
This dress is amazing! I bought both colors! I collect James perse dresses and this one is definitely one of my favorites. It's super fitted so it shows off curves and the straps are wide enough to hide a bra. Extremely sexy! These dresses are the only reason why I like James perse, they are one of the few designers that aren't afraid to make size 0 that actually fit a petite woman just right. I'm 5'3" 105 and 0 was perfect!
