Born in Italy, Gabriella Cortese learned embroidery and dressmaking from her grandmother before moving to Paris to study art at age 18. Antik Batik was inspired by Cortese's travels and experiences: A job at the Crazy Horse in Paris revealed the sensuality of the body, Balinese artisans taught her the craft of Batik, and travels in India exposed her to exquisite hand-dyeing and embroidery techniques. So cute!
I just fell in love w/ the bright colors. I ordered in yellow. It's a little smaller or fits closer to my neck than I realized but still a great accent piece and b/c of the print, it can be worn several different ways. I wore a royal blue, off the shoulder maxi and paired it w/ this necklace and it was simply cute and casual. I just liked that this piece kinda broke the norm. It brightens up my entire accessories drawer. f you want to add a subtle pop of color, go for it.

Cute but stiff
The necklace is cute but it doesnt fit well. It's a bit stiff and doesn't lay right against the neckline.
