Designer
Born in Italy, Gabriella Cortese learned embroidery and dressmaking from her grandmother before moving to Paris to study art at age 18. Antik Batik was inspired by Cortese's travels and experiences: A job at the Crazy Horse in Paris revealed the sensuality of the body, Balinese artisans taught her the craft of Batik, and travels in India exposed her to exquisite hand-dyeing and embroidery techniques. really pretty
I bought one of each of these (the red, yellow and blue). For some reason I thought they would be a little more substantial--they are not very thick in person but for some reason I thought they would be. That said, they are still beautiful and add a nice pop of color to an outfit. You can't really beat them for the sale price.

I have teeny wrists and was hoping that this bangle wouldn't be quite so big. It's very cute and wearable, I love the colors and detailing, but its very large for my small wrists.
