Designer
Designer James Perse found his calling in fashion when he designed the perfect baseball cap and sold it in his father's LA boutique. When movie directors wanted the caps for their cast and crew and record labels wanted them for tours, he decided to launch the James Perse collection. Perse next worked on creating the perfect T-shirt, and today is known for an array of luxe jersey essentials including dresses, tanks, and pants with a nod to the casual Southern California lifestyle.

Easy basic
Love this dress...very comfortable but stylish as well. I ordered the XS and S and kept the size S. Both fit but I went for comfort. Go small if you want it for evening.

Nice color
I am usually a size 1 in James Perse, but I ordered this dress in a 0 and 1. The 1 was too big, the 0 was more fitted and more flattering, also shorter. I am 5'6" and about 110 pounds. The color is pretty, and it's a nice cozy dress. I can't wait till it gets colder to wear!
