Designer

While on a year-long globetrotting adventure, designer Samantha August noticed a strong respect of the ocean in the people she met. When she returned to NYC, she focused on how to make the ocean a part of her life. The result is Basta Surf swimwear, a chic line inspired by her love of surfing and travel. And Samantha's designs are beautiful in more ways than one: a portion of all sales will be given to Global Water, a charity committed to creating safe water supplies in developing countries.

This was just okay. The bottoms fit really nicely and were so flattering. The top, however, was not great. I'm a 32C (ordered the M) and it fairly large with full coverage. I had to tie it very tight just so it looked acceptable. I initially liked the string detail on the back until it left me with terrible tan lines, which of course was my fault!

great color combination
It's a great piece and very well made but I unfortunately had to return it. I am 32 A and the top looked flat on me. The bottom's got a great cut and fit.
