Description
An ink-splattered pattern prints the flowing silhouette of a draped jersey shift dress from Willow. The V neckline plunges into the ruched bodice, while tonal ribbon trim lends a fitted effect to the empire waist. A cascade of pleats falls down the front of the skirt to the raw hem, and slim vertical ribbons accent the back and the fitted sleeves. Lined.

Kit Willow, founder and design director of Willow, debuted her eponymous line at Australian Fashion Week in 2003. The next year Willow took its clever draping, tailoring, and corsetry to London Fashion Week, where Kit put on a show that prompted British Vogue to declare her "a talent set to last." Beautiful!
I prefer dresses to come below my knees, and although I don't normally wear black and white, I ordered this dress anyway. I'm keeping it! It's made of the softest fabric I've ever felt and is just so comfy yet elegant. Very flattering for my pear shape. Great for day, or can be dressed up for evening. Wonderful dress.
