Description
An overlay wraps around the skirt of this Alexander Wang dress and fastens with oxidized buttons. Shutter pleats build texture on one side of the bib, and the other side hides a breast pocket under a crisp flap. Hidden buttons fasten the placket and a gunmetal screw secures the cut-away collar. Sleeveless. Unlined.

At 18, fashion wunderkind Alexander Wang moved to NY to attend Parsons School of Design, and by sophomore year he was already designing his label's first collection. Though predominantly pure in aesthetic, the line incorporates elements of street fashion and the imperfect, a look that won Wang the Vogue/CFDA Fashion Fund Award in 2008.
