Designer

Pollini's history begins in the '50s with skilled artisans assembling shoes using traditional Italian leatherwork techniques. Through the next few decades the brand found its niche and made an impact on the shoemaking industry with edgy styles influenced by motorcycle racing and with the innovative "Cavaliere" boot that had few seams and no buckles. In 2010 the company brought in celebrated British designer Nicholas Kirkwood as creative director, once again bringing the label to the footwear forefront.
