Designer
Moroccan-born Faycal Amor painted and studied economics in Europe before discovering his calling for fashion at age 24. Upon returning home to Tangiers, Amor developed a new dyeing process and convinced local manufacturers to produce his cutting-edge, innovative fabrics. In 1986 he designed his first apparel collection and Plein Sud, translated as 'Due South,' was born. Inspired by the merging of Eastern and Western cultures, Plein Sud clothing represents worldly imagination and high fashion in concert.
