I did not buy these boots from Shopbop because my size wasn't available. However, I thought I'd throw in my two cents worth about sizing. These boots are true to size. I am consistently a 37 for most Italian/European made shoes; except for Jimmy Choo and Lanvin, where I take a 37.5. In US sizing I take a 6.5. My feet are of medium width; not narrow, not wide. Intuitively I ordered these Acne boots in size 37 and with regular socks on, they are perfect and I'm thrilled with them. They are slightly narrower than the Rag & Bone mid-heel Moto boots (I'm a 37 here, too) but they are a lot easier to get into and out of. I've had no 'breaking-in' issues because the leather, though stiff initially, becomes malleable very quickly. Worth every cent and, for me, certainly lives up to all the hype. PS: I also found the sizing conversion chart on the Acne website to be useful and accurate.

In heels and flats (shoes with which I wear no socks) I am a true size 7. Sometimes I would size up to 7.5. I bought these in 36 and 37. At first 37 felt perfect - the widest part of my feet completely filled the width of the shoe and I thought if I sized down no way would they fit. My feet are pretty average - not too skinny not too thick. When I tried the 36 they were perfect in length but felt constricted in width. However, after wearing the 36 for maybe a few minutes the width no longer felt constricted. I think the leather in this shoe starts off really stiff but really quickly softens. I decided to keep the 36 and after walking around in them for a few hours I almost felt like they were too loose and that I could even go down to a 35...but that felt a bit crazy to size 2 sizes down so I'm sticking with the 36. I think if you have normal feet (not too wide) then go with the size that fits the length of your foot. The width will give easily. Also, they look sizable so size down.

i actually bought these in the Acne store in melbourne. the girls in there were all wearing them and warned me that these really need to be broken in, as initially the heel leather is hard....so true. but they soften up into a buttery leather, just like they should. have already suffered one blister from wearing too long as they looked too cute, but they have already softened in one week. they are a really great heel height for everyday wear, and work with all my jeans. am considering another pair to round out the wardrobe for winter. thanks acne!

Beautiful, quality make. 39 is a perfect fit for my size 9 feet - I do not find these large to size as some reviewers have. Love these!

I took the advice of other reviewers and sized down. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and I ordered size 37. It's a little snug, but after wearing them for a few minutes I noticed the leather loosening up. The quality of this boot is amazing and they are very comfy for a 3 inch heel.

These boots are worth the price imho, as the quality is exceptional and the style works with every look bar the most refined. The height is a fantastic lift without sacrificing comfort. The fit is THE issue with these boots. I read every review I could find. About half said these run big. Clearly that's not definitive, so I bought 38 and 39 to be absolutely sure which to keep. SO, I am always a US / Aus 8.5 or Italian / Euro 39. My feet are on the wide side and my arches are high. I'm a 39 in Rag & Bone Newbury and Mid Moto boots. They fit with 1 thumb's width of space between my big toe and the front end (perfect fit). The 38 in these fit just like my R&B 39s, with 1 thumb's width of space. The 39 were about 1cm longer and fit too large. There was space all around my wide foot and too much length. The profile view looked like clown shoes and I could immediately see they would crease at the wrong point. So yep, these are a big fit.

I have been coveting this boot since I saw it on the lovely Michelle Williams. When I recieved them, they looked stiff and I was a little concerned as they do make a large foot look large. But if you can commit, wear that boot in and it will turn in to something you will want to wear everyday. They are very standard looking, except for the zipper tie, there is nothing to call attention to it unless you find it in one of the suede colors like the baby blue. Being someone who either wears converse sneakers or 4-5" heels, the 2-1/2" heel is a nice compromise. Just a little lift to make your leg a few inches taller really goes a long way. I am usually a 9-1/2, I found the 9 to be comfortable if not slightly roomy for a good sock. Consider a size 1/2 to a full size down.

Love these boots - didn't get mine on shopbop either as they sold out super fast, and have absolutely no regrets despite the expensive price tag. They arrived at work and needless to say all the ladies ooh-ed and ahh-ed over them. They are super comfy, I'm usually a US size 6, and thankfully after some research, bought the 35 and they fit perfectly. Definitely size down for these. Great quality, beautiful bootie.

I got these boots after seeing so many gals wearing them! Yes, they are a bit pricey but honestly they are worth every penny! The leather is a bit stiff but still really comfortable even after being on my feet all day. I am really happy that I invested in these "everyday" booties. I can see myself wearing them all year round with skinny pants and dresses! Sizing was true to size. I want the brown ones now too!! :-P
