Designer
Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, designers of the fine jewelry line Ruby Kobo, wanted to create a second collection that was more casual but still retained the quality of their high-end designs. Shashi jewelry was born. Alpert and Kobo were inspired by temple bracelets handed out during Hindu prayer ceremonies, religious strings embedded with glittering stones that symbolize friendship, love, and good luck. As a result, each Shashi design evokes emotion and sentimentality.

Really pretty, but not great quality
I have a couple Shashi bracelets and I was disappointed with the quality of this one. I think it's something about the new Shashi bracelets in general--they just break so easily!! What happened to mine is that the knots on the ends came untied so I lost all of the little gold beads on the tassles that you pull--which has never happened to me with the old Shashi bracelets. I was disappointed with the quality but still kept it because I love the way it looks and think it's really pretty and delicate--I'm just not expecting it to last that long.

Muiltple Bands

Not worth the money
I was very excited to get this shashi bracelet but after only a week of wearing it (not constantly and not wetting it) it started to unravel on the adjustable part. I contacted Customer Service, and they advice me that because of the material this may happen. Not happy at all, this cost $18 and I thought the quality was going to be superior, if it's going to unravel right away you are better off getting similar items at the mall or even Etsy.
I may also mention that I did not appreciated the questioning of the CS as if I was lying about it when they could see I have JUST purchase this item.
